Connect your domain

Goal

Connect a custom domain to a site from the dashboard and complete verification.

Prerequisites

• Your plan includes custom domains (see /docs/billing/plans-and-limits).
• You can edit DNS records at your domain provider.

Steps

1. In the dashboard, open Sites and select your site.
2. Open Settings, then open Domains.
3. Under Custom domain, enter the domain you want to use (without protocol and without www) and add it.
4. Copy the DNS records shown in the dashboard:
   • TXT record (verification)
   • CNAME or A record (routing)
5. In your DNS provider, add the records as shown.
6. Wait for DNS propagation, then click Verify domain.
7. After verification succeeds, open your domain and confirm the site loads.

Expected result

The domain shows as verified in Domains, and the site loads on the custom domain.

Troubleshooting

• If verification fails shortly after adding records, DNS may not have propagated yet. Wait and try again.
• If you configured www but are visiting the non-www domain (or the other way around), update DNS for the hostname you want to use.
• If the domain cannot be added, it may already be connected to another site.

When upgrading helps (if applicable)

Upgrading may help if your current plan does not include custom domains.
