Publish your first site

Publish your first site

Make your site publicly accessible and confirm what visitors will see.

Goal

Publish a site from the dashboard and confirm visitors see the published version.

Prerequisites

Steps

  1. In the dashboard, open Sites.
  2. Select the site you want to publish.
  3. Review your pages and blocks to ensure the site is within your current plan limits (see /docs/billing/plans-and-limits).
  4. Click Publish.
  5. Open the site’s public URL and confirm the homepage loads.
  6. Open any additional pages you intend to share and confirm they load.

Expected result

The site status shows Published, and the public URL loads the published version of your content.

Troubleshooting

  • If Publish is unavailable or blocked, check whether you are within plan limits and whether any content is locked for your plan (see /docs/billing/plans-and-limits).
  • If the public site does not reflect a recent change, wait briefly and refresh. Depending on caching and network conditions, changes may not appear immediately.
  • If you are unsure whether you are viewing a draft or the published version, review /docs/publishing/draft-vs-published.

When upgrading helps (if applicable)

Upgrading may help if you are blocked by plan limits (sites, pages, blocks) or if a feature you need is not included in your current plan.
